United Recruit RN18 2013. After the unexpected success of our high end SU18 last year, we decided to introduce a smaller bike to the Recruit collection. Even though this is our more affordable 18″ option, we have still used a premium parts package and high quality detailing. We paid attention to a younger riders needs and created our own shorter 120mm United Jr grip and shorter lever, developed a shorter 18″ specific stem, found a smaller seat option and used responsive pro level geometry to stop this feeling like just another ‘kids’ bike. Included as standard are the new features found on other 2013 Recruit models, integrated head tube, sealed mid bb, & fully sealed 3 pawl alloy cassette hub. Smaller riders rejoice.
